Kathryn Allen is originally from Clifton Forge, Virginia, but has lived in Knoxville for most of her life. She was an intern in the OSCP Program in 2011 and a double major in Soil Science and Spanish. She plans to teach high school chemistry and environmental science after graduating. An interest in where food comes from and a summer working at Berry Creek Farm in Vermont sparked her interest in organic farming. She plans to share this interest with her future students through a school garden and composting program. |
