Sarah was a Graduate Research Assistant for the Organic and Sustainable Agriculture program at UT. Her studies focused on conservation tillage, cover crops and living mulches.

Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at UNC-Asheville, earning a BS in Psychology. She spent two years in upstate NY where she apprenticed in the vegetable garden of an Organic, certified Biodynamic farm working with adults with special needs.

Sarah’s interests include No-Till, Horticultural Therapy, farmscaping and integrated pest management.
